The Hamboree was sponsored by the Guyana Amateur Radio Association
and held in Georgetown, Guyana, South America during the weekend of March
30-April 1, 2002. Peter Denny 8R1WD was the host along with other members
of the GARA. Dominica, Trinidad & Tobago, and Guyana represented the
Caribbean Countries and the USA was represented by Foundation for Amateur
International Radio Service (FAIRS) members.

FAIRS members attend Hamboree
2001 in Trinidad and Tobago (Click)
David and Gaynell Larsen along with grandson Jarrad Helms attended the
Hamboree over Easter weekend - April 13-15/2001. It was a grand time to
make new friends and meet up with old friends at a beautiful Caribbean location.

Visit to the Commonwealth of Dominica March 2001 by FAIRS officials
David and Gaynell Larsen. The purpose of the visit was to work with the
Dominica Amateur Radio Club ( DARC) , deliver FAIRS amateur radio equipment
for DARC, meet with our friends on the island , and operate amateur radio
as J79WW and J79WWW.

Dominica 2000
The next visit to Dominica is the first two weeks of March 2000. David
and Gaynell Larsen, Don and Kay Clemens, and Larry Vogt ( N4VA ) will be
operating during the ARRL DX SSB contest the first full weekend of March
from Roseau Dominica.
