Disaster Communications Group in Grenada Prepares for Hurricane Season 2007

...[See] these pictures of our Disaster Communications Group with some of the radios donated by FAIRS [members & donors].
We were able to establish a District Communication "net" with the Family Radio Service system, however the were some gaps in the network because of hilly terrain. We are now looking to acquire radios and mobile antennas to operate [more efficiently, in terms of coverage].
This group is now preparing for the hurricane season, and we look forward to performing well during disaster.
